LiuGong South Africa officially started celebrations of 60th Anniversary in Sub-Saharan Africa Region during Bauma Conexpo Africa in Johannesburg in 13-16 March. LiuGong’s growing market share in Sub Saharan Region strengthens with its strong background of 60 years and deep-rooted dealer network in the region. Burgers Equipment Africa and CES Forklifts supported LiuGong South Africa (LGSA) with their experienced team during Bauma Show which became the showcase of ground breaking 856H Wheel Loader and 950E Excavator together with 425 Grader, 614 Roller, 375A SSL, 777A BHL and CPCD25 model to represent booming sales of Forklifts in South Africa.

The first session of the 13th National People’s Congress (NPC) opened in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Capital of China on March 5. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang delivered the annual report on the work of the government at the opening ceremony. Zeng Guang’an, NPC deputy for Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Chairman of Guangxi Liugong Group Co., Ltd., attended the conference.

On 7th Feb., China’s 5th Polar Station – Ross Sea Station laid its foundation at Enkesibao Island in Antarctic. “The LiuGong equipment has been integral in helping us to build our base on this isolated island.” said Xia Limin, Vice-Captain of China’s 34th Antarctic Expedition Team. In order to prepare for potential typhoons that could hit the area, LiuGong equipment has been working constantly for more than 20 days to build a temporary dock and shelters.

At the 3rd Plenary Session of the 1st Conference for the 13th National People’s Congress (NPC) for Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which was held in Nanning in the morning of January 31, Zeng Guang’an, the 12th and 13th Deputy of District People’s Congress, Secretary of the Party committee and Chairman of LiuGong Group, was elected as the Deputy to the 13th NPC for Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

LiuGong India proudly announced completion of its 15 years’ of business in India with a gala celebration on 22nd January 2018 for business partners, supporters and media. This celebration is also part of LiuGong’s 60th Anniversary global tour which was announced last November.

LiuGong celebrated the launch of its 60th Anniversary Global Tour and Fulfillment of “The Belt and Road Initiative” Strategy at its 2017 Global Dealer Conference. Attendees included those from the government, business associations, LiuGong dealers from China and around the world, financial institutions and media.
